I had the opportunity to help on the Christmas packaging lines in the Deli and Poultry ranges. The over-arching toolkit was supplied by the concept team which included factors such as the illustrations, colour palettes, stylised typography, label sizes and any essential symbols such as animal welfare logos and nutritional information like the traffic lights. Across the different lines, I was able to work with different cutters to gain a better understanding of how the design should work when it is folded up. As well as this, I learnt how to use the Christmas toolkit effectively to flex it across the different lines. I understood the process of supplying camera traces to the photography team for lines which use imagery and have understood how to confidently crop an image to get the most out of a shot.
