The design for this brief was related to the point of sale in the store, specifically the £8 Pizza Meal Deal. Assets for both print and digital were required. The main objective of this brief was to make sure that the design sat comfortably with the Dine in for Two meal deal. We decided to hero the price numeral similarly done in the No1 meal deal – this is evident in all POS assets. Elements such as designing 3 different barkers was crucial as it instilled and helped with the customer journey whilst reminding them in all of them what the overarching deal was.
To add to this, it was important to consider how the typography and lockup sat with the photography, alongside the existing Waitrose toolkit such as the brand lines.
